Everything you need to know before posting your first job in Wisconsin
Any Wisconsin resident or small business can post — families, homeowners, neighbors, and local businesses. Jobs must be age-appropriate, legal under Wisconsin labor law, and safe for teens ages 14–19. All postings are manually reviewed before matching begins.
Allowed categories include babysitting, yard work, pet care, house cleaning, tech help, tutoring, errands, and light organizing. Jobs must be safe, supervised, and suitable for teens. Hazardous tasks, heavy machinery, or adult-only environments are not permitted.
Pay is discussed and agreed upon directly between the job poster and the teen's family. We encourage posters to offer fair, reasonable compensation that reflects the effort involved. All jobs must comply with Wisconsin minimum wage laws as a baseline.
Yes — completely free during our Wisconsin beta. No fees, no subscriptions, no hidden costs. We're testing our matching process and building trust before the full platform launch.
TeenWorkHub is Wisconsin-only for now. Our beta is intentionally local so we can maintain quality and personal oversight. We plan to expand to additional states after the beta concludes.
You'll receive a response within 24–48 hours. Melissa personally reviews every submission and will reach out via email with next steps and potential teen matches.
Parent involvement is built into every introduction. When we match you with a teen, their parent is included in the initial intro. Families then coordinate details directly — we facilitate the connection.
Yes! Small businesses are welcome for simple, teen-appropriate tasks — light errands, organizing, social media help, tech setup, or seasonal work. All postings are reviewed to ensure they're safe and legal for teen workers.
