About Us

TeenWorkHub was born out of one mom's passion for work, family, and the belief that young people thrive when they're trusted with real responsibility.

A Mom on a Mission

Melissa - Founder of TeenWorkHub

Founder & Mom of Two

Built by a mom who believes responsibility starts early

I'm Melissa, a proud mom of two kids—an 8-year-old and an 11-year-old—who's always believed in the value of hard work. Growing up, I didn't have allowances or easy money. At 11 I was already hustling in creative ways to earn my own spending money, and by 14 I landed my first official job at a German restaurant.

That experience didn't just teach me how to make five different kinds of schnitzel, spätzle, red cabbage, and homemade sauerkraut—it taught me what it means to show up on time, follow through, and earn trust.

A Career Shaped by Hustle and Heart

Those early jobs gave me more than a paycheck. They gave me confidence, accountability, and skills I still talk about today. I've carried that mindset into everything I've done since, from my career in tech and entrepreneurship to raising a family.

As a busy mom and entrepreneur, I know how challenging it can be to juggle work, life, and giving kids opportunities to grow.

Why TeenWorkHub

TeenWorkHub is my way of bringing those life lessons to today's teens. I want kids to experience the pride of a job well done, the satisfaction of earning their own money, and the growth that comes from trying new things—all while parents stay informed and involved.

And honestly? As a busy mom of two in a family where both adults work full-time, I could really use help with little pesky things like pulling weeds and picking up dog poo! I was one of these kids, and I see real value in bringing together opportunities for kids and adults alike in a mutually beneficial way to connect.

Whether your teen is walking dogs, mowing lawns, tutoring younger students, or exploring a new skill, our platform makes it safe, transparent, and rewarding.
